The Neo-Podcast
The Neo-Podcast contains plays from Too Much Light and our Primetime shows, and also original material including songs, interviews, exclusive podcast plays and sonic nonsense. Neo-Podcast 8 The Neo-Futurists won't hesitate to give you birthday sex every year of your life, excluding the first 18. Remember that. As all of you June babies usher in a new year of blood pumping and nail biting we'd like to offer you all ten more minutes of sonic therapy. Cry into our puffy sweaters and we'll celebrate every tear by dancing to MJ in our undies in a parade that crawls through the hot streets Chicago Illinois. We promise. Neo-PRIDEcast 7 Just because Dean and Tif are straight, doesn't mean the podcast has to be. June is pride month, so we got proud. Prouder than your mother the day you told her you were dropping outta art school to get married to a doctor who lives in the house down the street. All the plays were part of the annual Pride Benefit version of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. What's the benefit? Keeping queer theater alive. Listen. Love. Bring it to New Hampshire and propose. Love, Dean & Tif. Neo-Podcast 6 It's been the longest year of our lives but these are the hurdles we must hurdle over in the hurdle race called life. New podcast intern: Tif . See Tif perform in a student performance of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind on June 3rd. This edition of the Neo Podcast contains four never heard on the internet plays. As well as some additional "material." Listen to this on the bus. Listen to this on the train. Listen to this at Bally Fitness. Listen to this in the rain. Love, Dean & Tif. Neo-Podcast 5 NeoPodcast Cinco is especially chaotic. We snuck in some original theme songs from Picked Up to go along with a few short plays from Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. Kate got dizzy on the decks and created a rad electro piece that I like to call 2400 Baud. There's also a short audio clip that were using in a play this upcoming weekend (6/6-6/8). If you download now, you'll catch a sneak peek up our butts. Love, Dean & Kate Neo-Podcast 4 I know, I know. It's been a while. You see. I've been making this show called Picked Up with Ryan and Jay and our team of comedy writers. In fact I'm still making it even though it opened a couple weeks ago. And Kate, well. Kate had to go on spring break and do college things and she's really popular. But enough excuses. It's here. Neo-Podcast 4. Thirteen and a half minutes of sonic non-sense. Enjoy. Neo-Podcast 3 Neo-Podcast3 has four plays and some other audio tidbits. This one got dirty, so we just went with it. Listen closely for the easter egg, Kate chewing a banana real close to the microphone. I guess because I just told you what it was it's no longer an easter egg and just a straight up egg thrown in your face. On two of the plays there is a slightly annoying crackle. We'll fix that next time we record a show. Neo-Podcast 2 We made another one. We're getting better and stronger. This time the ID3 tags are correct and the artwork is attached. When we get our footing these posts will list the play titles and other content along with the respective authors. But for now it's mashed potatoes with Dean Evans gravy* and Kate Puhala casserole. This episode is more musical and has even more lasers. We'll be recording another Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind this weekend. Any suggestions for plays, themes, ideas or technical notes? *No. That's not what I meant. Neo-Podcast 1.5 Dean and Kate hit the ground running to bring to you the Neo-Futurist podcast_1.5. God, do our voices really sound like that? In this podcast Kate and I slapped a few plays from Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind together and added some studio* recorded stuff. I scraped the hard drive of one of the computers in the office and peppered the podcast with some tidbits and aural delights. This episode is brought to you by Contraption by Bilal Dardai which runs through March 1st at the Neo-Futurarium. We're already working on podcast_2 , so, you might want to upgrade your Zune soon. Love, Dean (Kate is getting crunk at Delilahs on Lincoln) *by studio I mean in the dressing room between the old jar of vaseline and the fuse box.
